Nature Forest Therapy

Forest therapy, also known as Shinrin Yoku, consists of immersing oneself in a forest, slowing down and opening your senses to the natural world. The aim is to let nature connect to us and for us to be receptive to our environment. Decades of studies have proven that Forest Therapy has therapeutic benefits. In many Asian countries, Shinrin Yoku therapy is recognised as a preventive medicine for stress related illnesses.

Client Reviews

  • Thank you, Sarah for organising such a beautiful and relaxing sensory nature walk in Pipemakers Park for our first responder participants. The sensory activities were fantastic at helping to ground us into the present moment and encouraging us to use our five senses to deepen connection with nature. I felt much more relaxed and mindful afterwards, so thank you!

  • This is a unique and memorable experience. Even though i've walked through the bush lots of times there is much that I learned and experienced for the first time. It was an immersive experience, different to the experience you would have on your own. The guide was sensitive and the walk has been curated with care and thought. Delightful. I very much enjoyed the ceremony at the end. It was another sensitive element that added to the experience.
