    As a qualified Geo-scientist, I am committed to managing and protecting our natural resources to maintain natural diversity, thus enabling people to thrive.

    I have always felt the innate need to connect with nature to relieve stress, find clarity and attain inner balance.

    Growing up in France, nature always held a sacred place in my heart. Yet I was always attracted to the natural beauty and open spaces of Australia.

    My fondest childhood memories are about time spent in the forest with my parents and friends: Observing, Listening and Imagining the life of the creatures living in the wood. I loved it and still do.

    Recent stressful times have highlighted the important of nature for my well-being. Amidst the inability to immerse myself in the forest, I was left with no way to relieve stress. My mental and physical well-being have seriously been affected. Being mindful or meditating while trapped at home, was extremely hard to do. I was craving spending long hours in a quiet place in nature.

    During this time, I read about the concept of Shinrin-Yoku and it resonated deeply with me. It explained the peace I find when immersed in nature. It showed me a way to deepen my partnership with nature.

    It is peaceful and joyful and such a great simple practice that I want to share it with you.
